Medical review is intended to assess clinical accuracy, context, wording, risk, and whether educational material appropriately represents the evidence available to the project.
Editorial and medical review are separate
Editorial review can address clarity, structure, sourcing, readability, formatting, and publication standards.
Medical review concerns clinical content and should not be implied solely because an editor changed or approved a page.
Review metadata
Reviewer identity, review date, decision, and relevant governance information should be recorded explicitly when medical review occurs.
The public frontend must not transform a general updated-at timestamp into a medical-review claim.
